Teens Living For Christ

Welcome to Gloucester Point Baptist Church! Our Youth Ministry is committed to helping them grow in their faith so that they can share the gospel through friendship, caring, giving and responsibility. We emphasize walking with God, prayer, spiritual growth, preaching and serving Jesus Christ. Various activities are offered during Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship, Wednesday evenings with Teens Living for Christ and monthly socials.  Check out our Children & Youth monthly newsletter to learn more about our upcoming activities!

We are pouring our life into the next generation. Our youth group is a great place to belong. Any and every teenager is important to us! We hope you visit us soon at Gloucester Point Baptist Church and please let us know of any questions you may have!

Sunday School is available with age designated classes from 9:40–10:45 every Sunday morning.  The hope is that we encounter God, learn to value the Bible as God’s Word, and grow in our faith. We have amazing teachers who love our students and look forward to spending time with them each Sunday.

Wednesday Night Teens Living for Christ: Every Wednesday night, dinner is provided to our Youth Group 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm with Worship following 6:00 pm to 6:20 pm. Then our youth participate in Bible study and discussion from 6:20 pm to 7:30 pm to experience personal growth.

Social/Outreach: We believe having fun together is important, which is why we always have fun monthly socials. It is a time to invite friends and grow together.

Yearly Events

Fall Retreat: This is when we take a break from the normal to encounter God, have fun together, and just relax.

Youth VBS: Our Youth support the Children’s VBS program, but also have a separate VBS focused on their spiritual growth.

Summer Mission Trip: Every year our youth go on a mission trip to serve God and share God’s love for others. We have had the opportunity to do construction projects locally within the County, in Virginia as well as out of state such as Tennessee.

In July 2016, the youth will participate in a local mission camp in Gloucester, VA.  You can support them with your prayers and by participating in the fundraisers.  For more information, take a look at our page for Helping Hands Youth Mission Camp.
